After 26 Days on the Free Agency open market Alex Semin signed yesterday with the Carolina Hurricanes for 1 year/$7 million. And while rumors persisted ovet the last few weeks that he was close to signing with the Penguins, and I played that I was happy about it, I am happy that it didn’t [...] And with that the season is over. The highs… Sasha has been blocking shots and scoring goals (all w/o much (relative) ice time). The lows… Brook Laich is not a 1C… no matter how much his agent tries to say that he is. I understand splitting up Backstrom and Ovi to keep them both away [...] They Made It!!
