I went with some friends to Ladies Night at Nats Park earlier this past week. It was pretty much the same deal as in June. Even with a Rain Delay!
It appeared that there were less Ladies in the house this time. But there were way more kids. Seriously children. Little children. [...] Last night some friends and I went to Nats Ladies Night (a first for me and my first night game of the season). We had a GREAT time. A special ticket deal – – $40… got you a lot. Admission to the Pre-game happy hour…. with lots of swag and samples Swag… plus 1 free sample of Hard [...] Bullfeathers has always been my go-to for Capitol Hill drinking on a patio when the weather gets nice. But the food always left a lot to be desired. Then last winter new ownership took over……. and they remodeled the entire inside and re-did the menu. I finally stopped in a few weeks ago after a Nats [...] So these are “MY” nosebleed seats for every Nats Sunday home game this season. I went for the first time this season, this past Sunday. It was a bit chilly, though luckily no rain! These seats are pretty sweet for nosebleeds. They are in a little ‘section’ of nine seats that are all by their [...] Waaaaaay back when I was living closer to Baltimore and before Peter Angelos destroyed whatever affinity I had for the O’s after Mike Mussina left… I routinely contemplated getting an O’s mini -plan (about 10-15 games per season) – but never did. Fast forward to now. Close to DC. A short metro ride plops me in [...] My friends R and A, along with myself all have summer birthdays, and usually we plan a Girls Weekend trip. Last year was white water rafting (YAY for not dying!), and before that we’ve done Atlantic City. This year I asked if we could stick around DC due to my upcoming trip to Florida….
