I’m sure everyone has that big huge shopping bag sitting near their closet that they put clothing in when you realize you’re not wearing it anymore. I’ve done it for years,, and when I lived in my condo I would give the full bags to my parents for donation to Purple Heart (no front porch, [...] Waaaaaaaay back in February my friends and I bought a Groupon to use for 2 hours of Tower Climbing at Terrapin Adventures in Savage. We finally used it this past weekend. We showed up and registered and got all harnessed up….. and then walked outside to see this: ACK!!!! what did we get ourselves into!?!?!? My friend A [...] When I first moved in (almost 2 years ago!) The gutters were in horrible shape. In fact one was hanging off the rear addition… I finally replaced the gutters last fall and was finally ready to replace the lightbulb for the floodlight that the old gutters had been blocking. I trotted out my trusty 6 ft ladder, [...] My first 101 in 1001 attempt came to an end this past Friday. I completed 34 of 101 items. Which is .337 completion rate. If that was my batting average I would ROCK! In addition to those 34, I attempted 1 additional that I couldn’t complete (Programmable thermostat), and I have Groupons to do two additonal activity [...] Waaaaaay back when I was living closer to Baltimore and before Peter Angelos destroyed whatever affinity I had for the O’s after Mike Mussina left… I routinely contemplated getting an O’s mini -plan (about 10-15 games per season) – but never did.
