Like most of the Yelp reviews for Station 4, I ended up here for dinner before going to see a play at Arena Stage. Can’t beat the location for a pre-show dinner. It was a Friday…. so there was a decent mix of pre-show and after work happy hour crew. We had a 6:15 reservation and were seated right away. And whoa… tables for 2 are teeny…. and squished in tight with not enough space for patrons to get in and out…. some guys butt almost knocked over my friends drink. Also… this place is loud. We could barely hear each other while trying to have a converstaion…. but we could hear the guys at the table next to us that were practically yelling in order to have a conversation.
On the positive side, the food was good. I went with the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes - Giant Asparagus/ Fire Roasted Corn. Crab cakes were good, all lump meat with no filler, but I wish there had been some more spice. The asparagus was great, but the corn may have been slightly overcooked. I’d go back, but asked to be seated at a larger table… and away from the noise coming from the bar.
Aside from being a very tasty vegetable, asparagus is also a good source of vitamin B complex group. ‘*;*;
