Purchased a deal from TravelZoo many moons ago to use here… and it was set to expire next week. So my friend and I planned to meet here prior to Nats Opening Day (Located about a block from the Eastern Market metro… its then a quick 20 minute walk to Nats Park). DC-3 is perfect pre-baseball eating…. its all Hot Dogs!!! And we weren’t the only ones thinking the same thing…. 2 other groups in Nats gear were inside eating too (just after 11am).
As mentioned before the menu is all hot dogs.. and the actual menu is large pictures of the dogs with descriptions…
I went for the DC Hot Half Smoke – grilled pork and beef link, relish, onions, and mustard (hold the relish). And Cheese fries. hot dog was yummy (spicier than I was expecting) and bun was toasted perfectly. Fries were nothing special. Staff was friendly.
