May dates were finally announced today…. And its kind of a let down. First the “DC” date is at Nissan/Jiffy Lube Live… which is no picnic to get to. And I can’t believe they booked there becasue the last time they played there Vedder stated that “they really wanted to play at the other place… Merriweather”. And they never went back. Its been speculated that they couldn’t lock down a date at Verizon due to the Capitals strong playoffs outlook, which may be why this announcement took so long – the NYC dates have actually been penciled in since late Oct of 2009).
In addition the tickets for that day go on sale (for Fan Club members) March 17th at 4pm….. Huh!??!?!? I’m gonna be in a bar :X so Yeah skipping this show.
The NYC dates are good though… can’t beat Pearl Jam at MSG…. let’s hope I can score tickets… which luckily go on sale Tues (at 3pm and 6pm – which is annoying due to other plans I have for that night…. and so continues my love/hate relationship with the 10 Club).
