Tortilla Coast is my go-to Happy Hour venue with co-workers. Its one Metro stop away from my office, and is on the Orange/Blue line which means no need to change trains….. which if you are a regular Metro rider, you know waiting for a train after 7pm can suck.
They have a large amount of restaurant seating, and a large bar. Margarita’s on the rocks by the pitcher is our usual drink of choice, before switching to Coronas.
They have a decent amount of Happy Hour specials, which differ nightly.
You get free chips and salsa … which are fresh and piping hot!
I have eaten actual meals here, Mushroom and Spinach Enchiladas, Shrimp or Chicken Quesildillas, Tacos, and Hamburger are all good (way better than trying to eat at Bullfeathers, which is just down the block.

Sounds lovely! I just came back from mexico last week and find myself addicted to these incredible enchilada recipes now!! Must go back next year sometime, I think, and this time head off of the beaten track a little. Looking to reading more!
